Double-breasted macs, in cream and caramel checks, sat off-centre while another in black and white was distinctly surrealist in feel. Button-front ponchos were emblazoned with trompe l’oeil jackets, tailcoats transformed into billowy capes in khaki and sandy tones, and blankets – which took a surprise turn on the catwalk but became the cosiest of cover-ups worn in between cropped jackets and wide leg trousers or legging ensembles – featured throughout.
